The new three-year degree course (Transnational and European Legal Studies), entirely in English, provides in-depth basic training for those who wish to study the transnational and European dimension of the legal sciences, thus aiming to train a legal practitioner with skills specifically oriented to transnational and European law. The aim of the course is to integrate basic legal knowledge with specialised skills, enabling the students to deal with issues related to the transnational dimension of the most diverse legal relationships.
This approach clearly distinguishes it, for reasons of merit and method, both from the traditional single-cycle Bachelor's Degree in Law, and from the three-year Bachelor's Degree in Labor Consultants and Legal Services Sciences, and likewise from the Bachelor's Degree in Law and New Technologies, all of which are active in our University. Moreover, the educational proposal is also innovative with respect to the offer already present on a national scale: neither in southern Italy nor in the larger islands are there courses of the same type, and even those active in universities in central-northern Italy present different characteristics and content.
Graduates can either complete their path with a master's degree (primarily the single-cycle Bachelor of Laws degree, as well as a variety of national and international Master's degree programs in the areas of law, economics, political science and international relations) or immediately embark on a professional career in a variety of fields, including at the international level.
