Lecture rooms and Laboratories

Students of the three-year degree course in Transnational and European Legal Studies use the following facilities of the Department of Law for their teaching activities.

Lecture Rooms

Teaching activities take place in the Department's available classrooms, located in Building B and Building G of the University's Central Campus, and in the Aulario at Via Pietro Castelli 40.
The following lecture rooms are located in Building B: Lecture Room 1 Antonio Romano Tassone [100 seats], Lecture Room 2 Angelo Falzea [160 seats], Lecture Room 3 'Vincenzo Scalisi' [145 seats], Lecture Room 4 [50 seats], Lecture Room 5 'Salvatore Pugliatti' [80 seats], and Lecture Room 'Enzo Silvestri' [40 seats] (with entrance from the courtyard of the University's Central Campus).
In Building G (with entrance from the courtyard of the University's Central Campus), the former Chemistry Classroom [160 seats] is available to the department.
At the Aulario (Via Pietro Castelli 40, second floor), Lecture Rooms 202, 203, 204 are used by the Department.

Among the facilities available to students are those of the Law Library [Central Library, Legal Sciences Area], which include the Historic Reading Room, open daily from 8:30 to 24:00; and a Computer Room, which can be used for consulting the digital services of the Library System, bibliographical and jurisprudential research.

Study rooms

Among the facilities dedicated to students are:
• the Reading Room of the Legal Sciences Area Library - Rectorate (historical Reading Room of the Law Library), open daily with access from the Rectorate Atrium;
• a new and modern Legal Sciences Study Room, with entrance from the Courtyard of the University's Central Campus (next to the Lecture Room E. Silvestri), restored thanks to funding granted by the Ministry of University and Research, following the recognition granted by the Ministry of University and Research, following the recognition of the Department of Law as a Department of Excellence for the five-year period 2023/2027.
• All the reading and multimedia rooms of the University Libraries are accessible to students with daily reservation of a single seat (info).

The facilities available to students include the services offered by the Library of the University of Messina, Central Campus, Area of Legal Sciences, Piazza Pugliatti, 1. In particular, there are consultation services in the premises and multimedia classrooms, orientation and bibliographic consultancy services, local lending services of volumes and scientific journals, ebooks lending, inter-library loan. The digital library is very rich and includes collections of electronic periodicals, databases, newspapers and magazines, collections of ebooks, and numerous databases. All services are accessible both on site and remotely, so that they can be easily used from home.
All the reading rooms attached to the various hubs of the University Library System, and in particular the historical reading room of the Law Library (Building A of the University's Central Complex) are available to students.
