Ongoing academic advising and tutoring

Throughout the course of study, the Coordinator and all faculty members carry out continuous guidance and monitoring activities to support each student in their academic journey and to tailor their educational path to best suit their individual needs. This activity is conducted in synergy with the Department’s Guidance and Tutoring Committee.
Students are encouraged to engage in dialogue with the faculty members of the Degree Program and with the assigned academic tutors at the beginning of their studies, in order to receive support in overcoming any challenges they may encounter.

The Guidance and Tutoring Committee proposes preparatory and intensive educational activities, as well as support and remedial activities. The Committee also offers tutoring activities designed to assess and improve students’ academic preparation through personalized teaching approaches that address specific learning difficulties.

Among the tutoring services, there is a dedicated program conducted by senior students and, primarily, by doctoral candidates selected through a specific call for applications. The tutors’ role is to provide tailored support to students who request it, through integrative, preparatory, and remedial educational activities.
