The skills that graduates in Transnational and European Legal Studies will acquire include the study and interpretation of policies and legislative acts, various analytical and advisory activities, and regulatory tasks.
Thanks to the knowledge acquired in the three-year course, graduates will be able to participate in international negotiations by assisting the persons in charge of such negotiations, and to liaise with international and supranational stakeholders and various political and social partners.
It should also be noted that the minimum requirement for entry into the main international organisations is a Bachelor's Degree. For example, the Council of Europe offers 100 grants for traineeships, i.e. paid internships, every year. In order to access this employment opportunity, which is temporary but with the possibility of later consolidation, at least a Bachelor's Degree is required, without which access to any professional outlet at the Council of Europe is precluded. The importance of a Bachelor Degree is also confirmed by the framework of employment opportunities in non-governmental and third sector organisations. A Bachelor Degree is required, for instance, to enter the role of: Grassroots Activist, Researcher, Funding Proposal Coordinator, Educator, Programming Assistant, Activist Coordinator, Communications Officer, Consultant, Policy Analyst, Interpreter/Translator, External Activities Coordinator, External Relations and Fundraising Officer, Accountant, Human Resources Officer, Digital Content Manager.
